I am Alexis MArie

I’m Alexis — a wedding and elopement photographer based in Cincinnati, with a love for travel, people, and the stories that make each of us who we are.

I’ve always wanted to see as much of the world as I can, experience new places, and meet as many people as possible. Photography has become the perfect way to bring all of those things together. I’m constantly chasing the feeling of being somewhere new and finding beauty in the moments that happen naturally.

My work is rooted in documentary storytelling with an editorial touch. I’m there to make you feel comfortable, keep things effortless, and capture the moments you’ll want to remember exactly as they happened — the big ones, the quiet ones, and everything in between.

For me, photography isn’t just about creating beautiful images. It’s about creating something that brings you back to a place, a person, and a feeling for years to come.

I believe in thoughtful, considered, and personal collaborations

I believe the most meaningful photographs aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. They’re the moments that happen in between — the way you look at each other when no one is watching, the tears you didn’t expect, the laughter that takes over the room.

Your wedding day doesn’t need to be performed for the camera. It should be lived. My philosophy is to create space for you to be fully present while I quietly document the story as it unfolds. The beauty is already there — my job is simply to notice it.
